How do we identify personal/commercial accounts – Account identity Algorithm?
There is a check box available on the customer setup page of ams360. If the commercial check box is enabled then we consider that account as a commercial account in insuredmine.
If the commercial check box is not enabled then we consider the account as a personal account in insuredmineÂ
Please find the screenshot of which one we are referring to
Personal Account/Contact mapping logic in insuredmine
As per the account identity algorithm, we consider the personal account which does not have the Commercial checkbox enabled.
Account:Â
We create an account with the data available on the customer setup page. Policies will be mapped to this account as well as the primary contact of personal contact.
Primary Contact:
We create the primary contact from the customer setup page itself (In insuredmine you can see the * will be there to identify the primary contact)
Policies will be mapped to the account to which the current contact belongs as well as the contact as well.
Additional contacts:
Additional contacts will be created from the data available from the contacts page of ams360 portal.Â
Commercial Account/Contact mapping logic in insuredmine
As per the account identity algorithm, we consider the commercial account which has the Commercial checkbox enabled.
Account:Â
We create an account with the data available on the customer setup page. Policies will be mapped to this account as well as the primary contact of commercial contact.
Primary Contact:
We create the primary contact from the contacts page (In insuredmine you can see the * will be there to identify the primary contact)
If there is no contact available on the contacts page then we are not creating any contact. Hence the account will be available without contacts in insuredmine. And the policies will be mapped at the account level.
If we create a primary contact from the contacts page then policies will be mapped to the account to which the current contact belongs as well as the contact as well.
Additional contacts:
Additional contacts will be created from the data available from the contacts page of the ams360 portal excluding the primary contact considered one.Â
