Earlier, Lightspeed Voice and Lightspeed Text were two separate integrations within InsuredMine. But with the latest enhancement, now, they have been combined into one integration. This allows you to manage both inbound and outbound calls, send and receive text messages, and access call details and recordings directly within Lightspeed.
Use Case: This enhancement offers a unified communication experience, making it easier to track, record, and manage calls and texts, all from a single platform.’
Note: If you are a Lightspeed user, ensure that you log into both InsuredMine and the Lightspeed Portal at the same time to receive and make calls.
To View the Enhancement:
- Navigate to the Settings module.
- Within the Integrations section, search for Lightspeed and click Connect.
- You will be redirected to the Lightspeed browser page where you need to enter your email address and password.
- Next Log-in.
- Insuredmine is requesting access to your account. Do you want to authorize this application.
- Click to Authorize.
- Lightspeed Voice will be then connected successfully.
Click to Map Number to Lightspeed Voice:
- Click to Map Number.
- Add the Number to Connect.
- Hit, Save.
Outbound Calls in Lightspeed:
- Click the Call button to initiate a call.
- After initiating a call in InsuredMine, a call pop-up will appear on the Lightspeed page.
- Click the “Accept” option to initiate a call to InsuredMine. Once you click the “Answer” button, the timer will start in InsuredMine.
- Once you answer the call, the timer will start in Lightspeed, and the call will be received within InsuredMine as shown in the image below .👇
Access Call Recordings after the call is Disconnected
- In the Recordings tab, click the Play button to listen to the call recordings.
- You will be redirected to the Lightspeed page, where you can access the call recordings.
- Access the Timeline in Lightspeed to view the recordings.
Inbound Calls in Lightspeed:
- You will receive calls within the Lightspeed Portal.
- Click to Accept the call.
- Once you Accept the Call, you will be connected to the recipient and the timer will show in Lightspeed as well as in InsuredMine.
- Once you accept the call within Lightspeed, the incoming call pop-up will show in InsuredMine as Call “in Progress.”
- If there are Multiple Entries Found with the Phone, you can select any one name and the Call Id will be mapped and displayed within the InsuredMine as Call in Progress with the name you have selected.
- To disconnect the call, simply select “Hang Up” in the Lightspeed Portal & the call will also be disconnected from InsuredMine.
