Previously, we lacked the option to select our preferred method for receiving return documents. For instance, if you submitted three files, you would receive them combined into a single PDF as the return output. However, now the Admin has the ability to choose whether the agency prefers viewing the return documents individually or as a single document.
Use Case: Users can choose between a consolidated PDF or individual files for each document, providing them with a more efficient ease of access.
Note: This setting will be enabled and managed exclusively from the admin only.
To View the Enhancement:
- Navigate to the eSignature module.
- Then, click on the three dots icon present in the top right corner.
- From the drop-down, click on ‘Document Settings.’
- A minimized window will then appear, asking you to select how you want the return document to be: Return Single Document or a Return Separate Document.
- Click Update.
If you are selecting ‘Return Single document’ from the document settings:
- Then, all the documents will be merged into one single PDF.
Now, If you are selecting ‘Return Separate document’ from the document settings:
- For instance, if two different documents are shared with the signer, upon signing, two separate attachments will be received.
- The signer will also receive two separate attachments.
Note: If only a single document is sent, after signing, it will not be received as a separate document.
