Enhance your email campaigns by incorporating an unsubscribe feature for both marketing and transactional emails.
Use case: This option allows users to easily manage their email preferences, fostering a positive experience with your business.
Note: If a user unsubscribes from one type of campaign (either marketing or transactional), they will continue to receive emails of the other type. However, if they unsubscribe from both, they will not receive any further emails.
To View the Enhancement:
- Navigate to the Engagement module.
- Click on ‘Email Campaigns.’
Note: While sending an email campaign either marketing or transactional, include an unsubscribe link. If a user unsubscribes from marketing or transactional emails, future emails of that type won’t be sent. Unsubscribing from both stops him from getting all emails.
- Select the campaign type as ‘Marketing’ or ‘Transactional.’
- Check mark in the Add unsubscribe Link.
- Once the email campaigns are triggered, recipients will find an unsubscribe link included. Click on the link to stop receiving emails or modify preferences.
Marketing and Transactional Emails: What's the Difference?
Note:Â Â
- Marketing emails are aimed at broad engagement and relationship-building. These include promotional offers, seasonal greetings, newsletters with industry updates, and holiday messages. The primary goal is to maintain and enhance existing client relationships and prospects, encourage referrals, and promote the agency’s services.
- Transactional emails, on the other hand, are focused much on specific client-oriented communication. They address individual account needs or operational issues, such as reminders to file a claim following an adverse event, notifications about policy changes, or updates on claim status. These emails are triggered by specific client actions or events and are essential for managing clients account related tasks.
