Automation changes for add / won / lost deal

In this article, you will learn:

This feature will help you to set the appropriate automation based on the deal status and communication preference. Based on the deal health or deal status you can select the number of automation you want.

Use Case: If you have set automation for adding a deal card, in that case, while adding a deal card in that pipeline, you will get an option to start “Add deal automation”. While adding the automation, if there are multiple stages in the automation linked to the pipeline, you will get the option to select or deselect any particular automation.

How to make changes in automation while adding a deal card?

  • Add a deal card to a pipeline that already has automation added to it.
  • When adding a new deal card scroll down and select the checkbox to enable Start to Add deal automation
  • Click to Save
  • A pop-up window will appear with automation that is already added to the pipeline
  • Move the toggle bar to select or deselect any automation stage that is attached to this stage
  • Once done, click Apply

Automation changes for won deal

Use Case: If you have set automation on a pipeline for winning a deal, then whenever you mark a card as Won in that particular pipeline, you will get an option to start “Won deal automation”. While adding the automation, if there are multiple stages in the automation linked to the pipeline, you will get the option to select or deselect any particular stage automation.

How to make changes in automation while marking a deal card as won?

  • Select the deal card of a pipeline that already has won deal automation added to it.
  • When you mark the deal card as won and fill in the details, scroll down to select the checkbox to enable Start Won Deal Automation.
  • Click to Submit.
  • A pop-up window will appear with automation that is already added to the pipeline.
  • Move the toggle bar to select or deselect any automation stage that is attached to this stage
  • Once done, click Apply

Automation changes for lost deal

Use Case: If you have set automation on a pipeline on losing a deal card, whenever you mark a card as lost in that particular pipeline, you will get an option to start “Lost deal automation”. While adding the automation, if there are multiple stages in the automation linked to the pipeline, you will get the option to select or deselect any particular automation.

How to make changes in automation while marking a deal card as lost?

  • Select the deal card of a pipeline that already has lost deal automation added to it.
  • When you mark the deal card as lost and fill in the details, scroll down to select the checkbox to enable Start Lost Deal Drip.
  • Click to Submit.
  • A pop-up window will appear with automation that is already added to the pipeline.
  • Move the toggle bar to select or deselect any automation stage that is attached to this stage
  • Once done, click Confirm
