eSignature Cancel Restriction

To improve document security and control over eSignature workflows, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows admins to restrict users from cancelling sent eSignature documents. This ensures that only authorized users have the ability to cancel a document once it has been sent for signature.

Use Case: With the new “Cancellation Restriction” feature:

  • The Admin configures the settings so only the authorized users can cancel the eSignature documents.
  • Users can still send and track eSiganture, but cannot cancel them unless permission is granted.
  • If a document needs to be cancelled, it must go through the authorized person, adding a layer of verification and reducing errors.

To View The Enhancement:

  • Navigate to the Settings Module
  • Click on Configuration → Restrictions
    Within Settings, select Configuration, then go to the Restrictions.

Select Users to Restrict
In the Restrictions section, locate the “eSign Cancel” permission.
Select the users you want to restrict from cancelling documents and disable the toggle.

  • Once you restrict the users from cancelling the document then they won’t get an option to cancel the eSignature Document.
