Mandatory Fields for Add Account

Earlier, you could only assign mandatory fields for contacts, deals, tasks, lost deals, and won deals. Now, you can also set mandatory fields for ‘Add Account.’ This feature allows you to enforce mandatory fields for account creation in Settings. By ensuring key account details are filled before saving.

Use Case: With the new feature, ensure key account details are mandatory during account creation, enhancing data accuracy and consistency.

To View the Enhancement:

  • Navigate to the Settings Module.
  • Next within configurations, click on ‘Mandatory Fields.’
  • Then, move to the ‘Add Account’ Tab where all the Account details will be displayed.
  • Check the box for the fields you want to keep as mandatory.

While adding an Account:

  • While adding an account, the fields become mandatory, and you won’t be able to save the account until you have provided the required details.

From the Deal Card: Edit Account details

  • Once the account is added or updated, the mandatory fields will remain as they are, until you proceed to change them later.
